Iāll share three festive infusion kit recipes today: a Holiday Old Fashioned, a Chocolate Espresso Martini, and a Spiced Orange Bourbon. Plus, Iāve got a little trick to dress up your jars and a link to some free printable gift tags to make them extra special.
How to Make DIY Cocktail Infusion Kits
The process for making these kits couldnāt be easier:
Add the infusion ingredients to a clean mason jar.
Cover the jar lid with festive scrap fabric (more on this below!).
Attach a tag with instructions for the recipient to add their favorite liquor, steep the infusion, and enjoy!
The best part? You can whip up several of these at once, saving time and money while gifting something personal and handmade. And I'm willing to bet you already have a lot of the ingredients on hand!

Make it Festive: Scrap Fabric + Printable Tags
To make your DIY kits extra cute and festive, grab some scrap fabric (think flannel, gingham, or even burlap) to cover the mason jar lids. You can grab half a yard of something festive at your local fabric store (like JoAnn's) or you can repurpose old sheets or pillowcases like I did this year. Hereās how:
Cut the fabric into a 6-8 inch square.
Place it over the lid, screw on the rim, and tie the tag on using twine or ribbon.
To finish off your gift, download my free printable gift tagsĀ and attach them to the jars. Each tag includes instructions for how to use the infusion kitāmaking it as simple as possible for the lucky recipient!
